Choose who can reach you.

A few small settings for a more comfortable space.

1. Open Settings → Privacy.
2. Choose who can send you direct messages and friend requests. The choices available depend on your account’s age and family settings.
3. Use a person’s menu to block them or report a concern. For a particular message, use that message’s report action so the relevant context is included.

For younger accounts

Under-18 accounts have tighter contact defaults. A managed account can be limited to friends-only messages or no new direct messages by its guardian.

Need another way to reach us?

Use Support → Safety or reporting. Include enough context for us to find the issue, but do not send passwords or unnecessary private details.
